We measured fact-level agreement across five major LLMs for 100 companies. The study identifies which types of facts achieve consensus and which are consistently disputed across models.
Agreement rates by fact type
- Company name: 99% agreement (near-universal).
- Industry/sector: 82% agreement.
- Headquarters location: 78% agreement.
- Founding year: 74% agreement.
- CEO/leadership: 69% agreement.
- Employee count: 43% agreement (major disagreement).
- Revenue: 38% agreement (least consensus).
What drives disagreement
- Rapidly changing facts (employee count, revenue) have lowest agreement.
- Facts available in structured databases have highest agreement.
- Presence of a canonical source increases agreement by 35% on average.
